Tutors and teachers

The school team

AI tutors teach one to one, every day, at the learner's pace. Human teachers and staff review the work, decide grades and stay in charge of safety.

AI subject tutors

Each tutor is an AI, is labelled as one, and says so when asked. Every subject is taught by one of Nexier's AI Super Professors, with an AI Super Mentor who helps with the study plan and habits.

More subjects

Planned

Further subjects of the US K12 course format will get their own tutor. Each one is listed here only when it can teach.

How every tutor works

  1. Teaches in four steps: Warm-up, Explain, Try it, Check.

  2. Starts from the learner's level found in the starting check.

  3. Gives hints in six rungs before it ever shows a full solution.

  4. Answers in the learner's language when they write in Turkish or English.

  5. Drafts marks and feedback; a human teacher decides.

What a tutor will never do

The people in charge

Subject teachers

Review the marks AI tutors draft, decide every case where the two AI scorers disagree, write their own feedback and sign each term.

Safeguarding lead

A trained person who receives every disclosure of harm, reviews each safety case the AI opens and is the only one who can close it.

Registrar

Checks the evidence for credit brought from another school, approves it and issues records once a teacher has signed the term.

Support coordinator

Agrees a support plan with the family, lists the supports and the evidence, and never records a diagnosis.

Club moderators

Approve age-banded clubs and moderate them. Clubs have no direct messages, no rankings and no public profiles.

Parents and guardians

Give consent first, see the weekly summary and decide on approvals, exports and deletion.

Staff will be named when the school opens. This page describes the roles, not the people. Opening status
